PALLET ID’S / CASE ID’S / LPN’S
Items are moved around often within a warehouse setting. If they aren’t organized and labeled properly, this can lead to many complications including lost inventory. Correctly ID’ing pallets, cases, and bins that change locations regularly is a crucial part of inventory management.
License plate number labels are used to track inventory units (pallets, cases, containers) within a warehouse. At DASKO we offer preprinted LPN labels that are typically printed on paper, which means we can provide any size and design based on the requirements of your business. Features of our label solution:
- License plate labels are a key to your database where information on each pallet is stored. Each license plate number must be unique. We use our proprietary DASKO-TRAK system to track sequence numbers within and between orders to guarantee no duplicate numbers!
- LPN labels can be color coded to stand out from all other labels that may be on the pallets or cases.
- Pallet ID’s can be designed as a corner wrap label so that the barcode is visible regardless of how the pallet is situated.
PREPRINTED BARCODE TOTE / CONTAINER LABELS
Similarly, preprinted tote / container labels are barcode labels used to track totes, drums, crates, racks, containers, etc. that hold inventory on a permanent or temporary basis. They are typically applied to the container in advance and scanned when inventory is placed into or removed from the container as directed by your WMS (Warehouse Management System). Once the container is emptied, it becomes available to be used again and the same container ID number will be scanned and re-used.
Preprinted barcode tote / container labels typically require longer term durability than LPN’s and are more likely to be exposed to harsh environments such as abrasion, outdoors and water washes. DASKO offers high-quality, durable label solutions for container tracking.
